At the absolute barest, very lowest bar, the pulpit is sacred ground.
Not man's kind of sacred, God's anointed kind of sacred. By allowing anyone other than God's anointed messenger(s) to speak from the pulpit within God's sanctuary, you have allowed Satan a welcome entrance and enabled his lying messengers to be heard.
That's at the barest, absolute minimum.
I think you would agree that the larger problem is that these 'priests' have fallen into the ages old trap of seeking to please men rather than God. It also speaks volumes of their own faith - or lack thereof. Where's their conviction? Where's their resolute adherence to Christ's own words? Hint: No man comes to the Father except through me. If they confess Christ, why would they allow someone to come in and tell them the exact opposite?
Also: Ask these numbskulls the last time they ever heard of a Christian pastor getting invited to preach at a Mosque.
They have abandoned the faith and only hold to it as a hireling. And the wolf they have greeted warmly to come in and devour the faithful.
I would like to ask what you think of inter-faith services.
I attended one at Wells Cathedral. An imam preached from the Koran.
I and three concerned tried to prevent the service going ahead, by contacting the cathedral clergy in the weeks beforehand. But our concerns were dismissed.
By allowing the Koran to be preached, they were de facto stating that Mohammed was a genuine prophet. Would you think so?
