Everything is theological. Steve Deace correctly sums it up: “Something will always rule and something will always be worshipped.” Worth the read…will forward to my pastors and covenant partners!

Finally a pastor shares truth about where things are today. Thanks for your unwillingness to cower to “political correctness”.

Excellent article! I bet I will be coming back to this article for reference in the future. I think people often times discount how much of an on ramp politics is to Christianity. Especially among young men. When I really started to take my faith very seriously, I was seeking answers to these kind of questions, and it was extremely hard to find Christian voices that spoke directly to these things. Imagine if all pastors spoke very clearly about these issues.

Thank you so much for addressing this issue. It seems that some evangelical pastors have been missing in action on the issue of transgenderism and other issues. Meanwhile, young people (and parents) have been dealing with the fallout from these issues.

Thanks for a well-reasoned and clearly-presented explanation of pastoral duty to ones congregation. We live in the hope and expectation of eternity with our Lord Jesus Christ, but we also live for this short period of time in the brokenness of this world.
